Done for You Contract Design

Redesign a legal document to drive change for the team, your customers and decision-makers

You’re ready for a full legal document redesign project. It will be a document you’ll use in your work and inspire the team to continue implementing legal design. You’re ready to entrench contract design in your everyday work.

Working one on one with Hannele Korhonen and the team, you’ll get a completely redesigned legal document that you can use for motivation, testing customer feedback and demonstrating the value of contract design to decision-makers.

We don’t just give advice, we challenge you and your team to transform the way you work. Our collaborative process encourages you to take the lead in shaping the outcomes of the project. And we put you and your customers at the center of the project.

We simplify your complex contract and deliver a final version that your colleagues and clients understand and can use with ease. Working together, you and your team will build your contract design skills and flex your design thinking muscles. You’ll get first-hand experience using different design tools and apply different approaches which will empower you to continue entrenching the processes on your own.

How we work

  1. Strategy: We define the goals for the project together
  2. Discover: We do the research to understand the problem. Ideally, we conduct collaborative workshops with your customers and other stakeholders.
  3. Define: We crystallize the findings and present the insight so that we can choose what we design together
  4. Design: We design the prototype in an iterative process based on your input and feedback
  5. Deliver: We deliver the final redesigned contract

We will help to facilitate the process, so all you need to do is get in contact with us and answer our questions about your challenges.

Who is Hannele Korhonen

I’m a values-driven ex-corporate lawyer, law firm founder and contract geek.

I understand the frustration clients have with contracts and legal documents: Confusion, legalese and endless negotiation. I also know how it feels as an everyday lawyer who’s buried in paper and thinking

“There’s gotta be more to it than this.”

It’s hard work being a lawyer, right? I’ve been there. You need to keep clients happy, and keep the boss happy. Tough gig. As an in-house counsel, I wanted work products to make sense, be understandable and add value to the customers. And I knew legal design was the answer to keeping everyone happy. I fell in love with the concept of putting the user first, by making the law more human and accessible. I had a fire in my belly for delivering legal services people could understand and use.

Document simplification, innovation, and ending legalese are just one part of legal design – and I’ll give you everything you need to start using legal design in your work today.
