ISO Plain Language Standard for Lawyers and Stéphanie Roy, from En Clair

I spoke with Stéphanie Roy from En Clair about the ISO Plain Language Standard on Legal Design IRL this week. The International Organization for Standardization will release the Plain Language Standard in June 2023. 

Stéphanie has been closely following the drafting of the standard as the vice-president of Clarity, an international association dedicated to promoting plain legal language around the world. Stéphanie is the co-founder of the Legal Design and plain language agency, En Clair Service-Conseil in Canada. En Clair is a multidisciplinary team comprising 13 lawyers specializing in legal design and plain language, UX designers, graphic designers and experts in communication.
